Intensive In-Home (IIH)

Our Intensive In-Home (IIH) service offerings are designed for children, adolescents, and young adults, ages 5-21. The program, provided by Guided Paths, is designed to help young individuals with a mental illness flourish in their homes without having to be placed outside the home.

As a time-limited service, the IIH program takes place in a member’s residence in coordination with other required services, family counseling, outpatient therapy with an IIH provider or another provider, and training to increase appropriate communication skills. This innovative service is tailored to the unique aspects of each individual, their family, and environmental factors. By offering in-home services, we are able to help our patients feel safe and stable throughout the program.

IIH is designed to:

  • Improve family dynamics
  • Provide modeling
  • Improve interpersonal relations between family members in the home
  • Provide clinical interventions to help improve functioning

Our comprehensive home-based services can help to stabilize your family and promote a healthy home environment. This program is specifically designed for young children, adolescents, and young adults. To learn more and discuss eligibility, please contact the Guided Paths team today.
